Built
In Equipment Racks |
 |

Keep your equipment out
of the way! Some audiophile types like to see
their components, but most people prefer them hidden.
Ask us about built in A/V racks, which enable components
to be neatly and safely stored in a closet, cabinet, or
even in a wall! Some varieties pull out and pivot
for easy access. Racks also hide and organize
wires and can include cooling fans if desired. |

Radio Frequency Remote Controls |
 |
|
|
One unified remote
control should control all basic functions of most audio
and video components. And with radio frequency (“RF”)
technology, electronics equipment need not be visible --
it can even be in a closed closet behind you while
you’re watching TV. Remotes that rely on infra-red (“IR”)
technology, on the other hand, require equipment to be
in the line of sight of the remote control.

Some RF remotes can also
be used to control other smart home technology located
elsewhere in the home and outdoors. |

Pre wiring |
 |
|
|
|
You can minimize the
visibility of wires around the house by having it wired
under the sheetrock. This is typically done immediately
prior to insulation. You can pre wire for any systems,
but the most common are data (computer), voice
(telephone), audio, whether local stereo, multi room
audio or surround sound, and video. For video, high
definition cabling is our standard, but many installers
out there will run regular definition unless you ask
specifically. Also, as bandwidth requirements keep
increasing, some people run extra cabling should it be
needed later. |
