With radio
frequency (“RF”) technology, equipment need not be visible
-- it can even be in a closed closet behind you while you’re
watching TV. Remotes that rely on infra-red (“IR”)
technology, on the other hand, require equipment to be in
the line of sight of the remote control. Many remotes do not
